Bologna 2013!

Ciao amici! It's that time of year again, and here at PP we are working flat out to have everything prepared for my trip to Bologna Book Fair next week. With well over 40 meetings in 3 days, this year I have some truly exceptional project concepts from our wonderful illustrators and authors to show at the fair, as well as some brand new artists in the PP folios! I'm super excited to be taking these with me and, as always, we are extremely proud to be representing every single one of our fabulous artists!
I just want to take this opportunity to thank each of you for all of your hard work preparing your concepts for me to take to Bologna. A fantastic job all round! Here's to a great Bologna 2013! A presto! Han x

Gromit Unleashed!

We all know the loveable Gromit from Aardman's Wallace and Gromit films! Now, Gromit Unleashed, the wonderful project, which will see 5ft Gromit statues taking up residence across the city of Bristol as part of a collaboration between Aardman and Bristol Children's Hospital charity Wallace and Gromit's Grand Appeal, has selected PP artist Paula Bowles from 500 artists from across the globe, to paint one of their giant Gromits!

The statues, which have already started arriving in Bristol, will be auctioned off in the autumn for the charity's £3.5 million appeal for state-of-the-art equipment and improved facilities at the hospital.

It's a real honour to be selected and Paula's giant Gromit will be exhibited among fellow selected artists, including Raymond Briggs and Axel Schleffler, so she will be in excellent company! We are so excited to see how she paints hers. You can read more here.

Charlie Langhorne, director of Wild In Art delivers Gromits to the Aardman studios.
